The extension helps you to control the release of the products on your website or shop. You can either set a "Start date", "End date" or a specific period/date range for the product launch. It provides you with an option to completely disable the products or hide the products from the website before the launch date or show it on the site with a countdown timer. It creates curiosities in the user by adding a countdown timer and showing the labels on the category pages and cross-sells for new launching dates to keep your customers busy.

Why we need Product Scheduler?

The aim of this extension is to automate the process of launching new products. If admin wants to make a new range live on a particular day or for a particular duration which might include the bulk of products then they have to create all the product, keep them disabled till all products are created in admin, and manually make them enabled on the day of going live which is quite a tedious, time taking process and prone to human errors. The Product Scheduler extension will have "Start date" and "End date" with product settings. Admin can simply set these dates to make the status of the product enabled/disabled on specific dates/duration.

With the help of this extension, you can plan for special occasions or promotional offers in advance in an effective way. It saves your time and makes you free from the hectic routine to manually enable or disable products in the store. It creates a log and the admin can check the log file for each day with a time stamp. The log file will record all details about products being set to enable/disable along with the dates/store values.

The extension makes sales management comfortable and convenient, it helps you to schedule product availability for your pre-defined sales period. From the catalogue of your full range of products, select certain products to appear for purchase with a countdown timer to assist your customers with their favorite product availability. This will inform your customers about product purchase availability on sale launch time.

Yes, our product scheduler extension can completely fulfill your requirement. It allows you to choose from the configuration whether you want to provide the countdown timer on the product page or not. If enabled the countdown timer is displayed on the product page and the exact time before the launch is automatically calculated and set as the countdown. The format of the timer is D:H:M:S (Days/Hours/Minutes/Seconds). The countdown time is calculated from the today's date and start date  provided in the product scheduler settings by going into Admin>catalog>Products. Furthermore, you can enable the timer by going into Admin>Stores>Configuration>Product Scheduler and set “Show Timer/Label Before Launch Date” to “Yes”. Q: Why is my product not showing "Launching Soon" even though I have set my start date to be in future in admin?
A: There is a cron job which runs every 5 mins which can be controlled via admin configuration so that you can control how often you want the cron job to run. Once the cron job has run then you will see the product showing "Coming Soon" on your website.
Q: Can I change the text "Launching Soon" and its styling on category and product pages?
A: Yes you can change the text "Launching Soon" and other styling elements such as font size, font color etc. from admin configuration. Go to Admin>Stores>Configuration>Scommerce Configuration>Product Scheduler
Q: My website has a complete custom design. I want the design of the label text to match with the stype of our pages. How can I do that using this extension?
A: You can add custom css from admin configuration to control style elements such as colour, font-size and font-family etc. Simple go to Admin>Stores>Configuration>Scommerce Configuration>Product Scheduler and enter your custom CSS in “Custom CSS” input box.

Q: How do I set the Start Date and End date of “launching soon” promotion for each product?
A: To set the start date and end date go to Admin>Catalog>Products edit the product of your choice then scroll down until you find a setting named “Product Scheduler”. Here set the exact start date and end date with time. Please refer to the image below:-

Q. How can I get license key for my development website?
A. Please use the same license as live site provided with the order confirmation email on the staging site and ensure you have the latest version of scommerce/core installed i.e 2.0.6.
Once added go to Stores>Configuration>Scommerce Configuration> Core and set "Development Environment" to "Yes" then click on verify. Once verified the license will start working on your staging site.

A. Unfortunately it is not possible to generate license keys based on the dynamic URLs. License keys need to be generated per domain or subdomain whether it is production or non-production.
Q. How can I manually uninstall your module?
A. Please follow the below steps -:

Step 1: Navigate to our store and login to your account. Then go to the My Account Section, on the left menu click on Composer Instructions.
