Magento 2 Tradebyte integration

Compatible with Magento 2 community and enterprise 2.3.3 - 2.4.x including cloud edition

The Scommerce Tradebyte Integration extension integrates your Magento2 store to the Tradebyte platform which further increases the reach of your products to different retailers gaining a high number of conversions in a short period of time. It sends the Magento order data to Tradbyte through their efficient and robust APIs which is further driven to various retailers or brands that you want to connect with. Moreover, it also synchronizes stock updates, product data, order status and more. It is quite simple to use and configure directly through your Magento 2 backend configuration. We offer a wide variety of customizations with the same.

What is Tradebyte?

Tradebyte is a widely popular platform that helps stores connect and sell their products to various marketplaces. It acts as a medium between your Magento 2 store and other marketplaces which makes it easier to manage everything from one place itself. You can update various details to different marketplaces from tradebyte such as product data, stock updates, order status data as well as order data itself.
All of this data is sent and received between your store and Tradebyte. The platform then automatically syncs this data with the marketplaces that you are connected with. Managing and listing your products on different platforms is now easier than ever. They also give you detailed insights into product performance which helps you optimize your products accordingly.

How Does Tradebyte Integration Work?

The Scommerce Tradebyte Integration extension can be configured directly through Magento configuration in a very few simple steps. You can also configure the sync time of various data as per your requirement. Let us look at an example of Tradebyte integration.
Suppose you are running a Magento 2 store and want to increase the reach of your products to various platforms such as Amazon, Zalando, Real etc. Now if you were to do it without using Tradebyte and then you need to contact each of these marketplaces and upload product data and other data timely. Manually send/receive order data. Doing everything manually can be quite a hassle. Tradebyte integration minimizes all the manual work which will cost you a lot of money and time to implement or manage.
You can manage all the data from one place through Tradebyte without having to worry about managing each of these platforms manually. All the data exchange will happen between Magento 2 and Tradebyte through APIs and this data will then be transferred to other platforms by Tradebyte itself. You can configure as to when to send or receive specific data such as order data, stock data, order status data, product data etc.

Tradebyte Integration

Features offered with this Integration

We have listed various features and customizations that we offer with this integration. They are listed as below:-

Send/Receive Order Data

The extension enables you to send or receive order data to other merchants/marketplaces through Tradebyte. This data is transferred from your store to Tradebyte using their reliable REST APIs. A specific XML format is used to both receive or transmit the order data. The data gets exchanged between the Magento database and the Tradebyte database. A variety of order data is exchanged such as channel information, customer addresses (billing/shipping), and products/services ordered. Let us look at an example of order data exchange. Suppose you are connected to various marketplaces such as Amazon through Tradebyte. An order for your product is placed on amazon. TB retrieves this information from Amazon to their database. Our Tradebyte integration extension brings this order information from the TB database to the Magento database. Using which that order is generated in Magento.

Send/Receive Stock Updates

Maintaining/updating stock data can be quite tricky especially when you are selling on multiple platforms. TB(Tradebyte) integration made stock management across different platforms very easy. We utilize the TB APIs to sync the stock data. You can decide the time-frequency of when the stock should be synced as well as be able to sync stocks from multiple sources in Magento 2. The update frequency is up to you however, the stock should be updated regularly to avoid discrepancies. TB keeps the stock data in its database and updates it based on the data received from Magento 2 store as well as various platforms that you are selling on.
Every product has a specific stock in your store. I.e the number of products available to sell. While selling products across different platforms it becomes crucial that each of the platforms has the updated stock timely so that you don't oversell or undersell products.

Send/Receive Order Status Updates

As an eCommerce store, we are responsible for a customer's order journey. We need to update them with the correct order statuses throughout the journey as well as afterwards. Handling order status comes by default with Magento 2. However, when we are selling on multiple platforms we are bound to distribute order statuses to each of the platforms timely. Our integration extension also sends as well brings back order status data from the TB database to Magento 2. As the order progresses we send the correct order status to TB which is then forwarded further to your channels. For eg:- pending, processing, shipped, on hold, cancelled, closed etc. Now suppose a user cancels the order on one of your channels or returns an order partially or fully. Then this order status message is passed down to TB from the merchant and then we retrieve this data from TB to our Magento 2 database which we further process depending upon the status as usual.

Send/Receive Product Data

We use the Tradebytes implementations to send or receive product data. The product data can be sent as whole as in a complete catalogue or partially as well called delta. It's up to you to update all the products in one go or update them in groups(certain specific products). The product data is exchanged in a specific XML format as per TBs standards. Any product changes made on the Magento 2 store can be transferred to other marketplaces easily using this integration.
