Magento 2 Export Custom product attribute extension by Scommerce Mage helps you export custom product attributes in the catalog product export CSV file. The custom attributes can be selected from configuration that you want to export. It adds custom product attributes in the separate columns in the CSV file.
What are Product Attributes?
The properties of a product that helps describe the product better for customers are called product attributes. It can be any detail about the product for eg:- Product ID, Size, color and so on. With the help of product attributes customers can narrow down their search results and quickly find the product that they are looking for. They help enhance users' journey on your store. It will sometimes lead to good reviews which are beneficial for your business. In Magento 2 product attributes can be easily accessed by going into Admin>Stores>Attributes>Product
Magento’s Limit
By default Magento gives us the export feature using which we can export catalog product data. The export contains all the product attributes unless you exclude them during export. The CSV file generated from export contains all the product attribute data. However, only the default attributes of Magento are listed in separate columns whereas any custom attributes that you have will be listed together in the "additional_attributes" column. By default, custom product attributes will be exported under “additional_attributes” column separated by a comma. These comma separated data can be difficult to maintain especially when you are frequently exporting and importing them on a regular basis. Suppose you have 5 custom attributes on your store then after the export you will see that all 5 attributes are comma separated in the same column.
Our module overcomes this limitation by allowing you to choose which specific custom product attributes you want to export. Also, in the export result all the select product attributes will be listed in their own separate columns. This will help you enhance the product management system on your store.
Select Custom Product Attributes to Export
A list of all attributes is available in the configuration. You can select the custom attributes that you want to include in the catalog product export. The custom product attributes can be selected by going into Admin>Stores>Configuration>Export Custom Attributes>Allowed Attributes.
Export Custom Product Attributes in Separate Columns
The generated catalog product data will contain all the custom product attributes that you have selected in the configuration. All the select product attributes will have their own separate columns in the export CSV file.

Q: I wanted to export the ‘special offer label’ text from the site. However, when I export a product csv file, this column is not included. Can you tell me how I can export this information?
A: You need to add ‘special offer label’ in the field 'Allowed Attributes', which is present in the configuration and when you export the product csv file, it will be present in the new column. But, if you export out of the box Magento, it exports the attribute value in the additional attribute column (additional_attributes)
Q: If new attribute is created, will it be automatically added under the field 'Allowed Attribute'?
A: Yes, it will be automatically added in the field 'Allowed Attribute'.
Q:Does this module support hyva theme?
A: Yes, our modules does support hyva theme.
Q:Can the exported custom product attributes be reimported in Magento 2 in separate columns?
A: Yes, the export CSV file can be successfully imported into magento 2. In order to make sure that custom product attributes are reimported successfully, please make sure to import them in successful columns. By default magento exports custom product attributes in a single column “additional_attributes”. To export them in separate column go to Admin>Stores>Configuration>Scommerce Configuration>Export Custom Attributes>Allowed attributes and make sure your custom attribute is selected, only when it is selected, will it be exported in a separate column.
Q. How can I get license key for my development website?
A. Please use the same license as live site provided with the order confirmation email on the staging site and ensure you have the latest version of scommerce/core installed i.e 2.0.9.

A. Unfortunately it is not possible to generate license keys based on the dynamic URLs.
License keys need to be generated per domain or subdomain whether it is production or non-production.
