  • Orders and Invoicing -> Handling Orders, Shipping Orders, Invoicing Orders, Refunding etc.

  • Products-> Creating/Deleting/Updating products. How to choose the correct product type(Simple/Configurable/Bundle) which is one of the first things you must do to create a new product.

Customers :

  • All Customers-> You'll learn how to create/update/manage customers, check order activities.
  • Now Online-> You can see who’s online in your store at any given time, and examine the contents of the customer’s shopping cart etc..
  • Customer Groups-> Managing/Creating customer groups.Usage of creating various customer groups. With customer groups, you can define different discounts for different customer groups.

  • Data Transfer-> Import/Export, you’ll learn how to import and export data, manage security and permissions.
  • Extensions-> Manage integrations and extensions for your store
  • Tools-> You'll learn how to manage your system resources, including cache and index management, backups, and installation settings.
  • Permissions-> You'll learn how to grant permission on a " need to know " basis to people who work on your site. Magento uses roles and permissions to create different levels of access for Admin users, e.g. All Users, Locked Users, User Roles.
  • Other Settings-> Manage the notifications in your inbox, create custom variables, and generate a new encryption key.

  • Configuration-> This area contains all the relevant information about your site setup. You will get to know how the setup of the site has been done and how you can change it.

  • URL Rewrites-> The URL Rewrite tool lets you change any URL that is associated with a product, category, or CMS page.
  • Site Map-> Sitemap improves the way your store is indexed by their search engine and is specifically designed to find pages which might otherwise be overlooked.
  • Marketing Automation-> Automation studio,Exclusion rules.

Content :

  • Elements-> You’ll learn how to create and manage content pages and blocks, and use variables and widgets to add dynamic content pages.
  • Design-> You will learn about page layouts, how to make simple HTML changes, and apply a new theme to your store.


  • Settings -> Managing the hierarchy of websites, stores and store views in your Magento installation, and all configuration settings. In addition, you'll get to know how to set up the terms and Conditions of sale, and manage order status settings.
  • Taxes-> You'll learn how to Setup the tax rules for your store, define customer and product tax classes and manage tax zones and rates. You can also import tax rate data into your store.       
  • Currency-> Managing the rates for the currencies that are accepted as payment in your store and customizing the currency symbols that appear in product prices and sales documents.
  • Attributes-> Learn how to create new attributes, edit existing attributes, and manage attribute sets. Managing attributes that are used for product information and product ratings.

Reports :

You'll learn out of the box Magento reports and how to view report data. Magento Community Edition provides a wide selection of reports to keep you current on everything from the contents of your customers’ shopping carts to the tags they use. Report data can be viewed online or downloaded as a CSV or XML data file.
